My Story

My name is Stine. I am a sculptor with a deep passion for creative expression. Art has always been an integral part of me, but it has taken time to fully unfold and bring me to where I am today.

My journey began as a bricklayer, where I renovated churches and experienced how art, stories, and life intertwined. I then spent two decades working with people in crisis and difficult life situations, which shaped my understanding of human diversity and the complexity of life. These experiences have deeply influenced me as both an artist and a person, and I find inspiration in the diversity of human experiences and the richness of life.

At a turning point in my life, art once again took center stage. I studied under Alexandra Slava in Berlin, which sparked my desire to create art that speaks to the world. Nature, my own life experiences, and the many stories I've encountered over time are the wellsprings of my artistic inspiration and are reflected in the line that defines my art.

My Inspiration

Nature plays a central role in my heart and daily life, as I live both in the Faroe Islands and Denmark. Human life, like nature, is full of stories and beauty. Therefore, I draw inspiration from nature's ever-changing moods, alongside the diversity of human experience, in my artistic expression.

I look forward to sharing my artworks with you and hope they inspire, contribute, and awaken something in you and your thoughts, just as they do in me. Thank you for being part of my artistic journey.
